Rating: 4/ 5
This earth is
not just the property of humans. All creatures including animals and birds have
the same right. Birds attacked today, so tomorrow someone else can. Film 2.0
director Shankar has tried to convey the same message through his great
technology based film. The makers of Indian Cinema's most expensive Film 2.0
have used Hollywood level 3D technology and VFX in it. This is the reason why
the budget of this film has crossed 600 crores. 2.0 is said to be a virtual
successor rather than a sequel to the 2010 'Robot'. That is, the story of the
film is completely different from the previous film, but it also has some
characters from the previous film. However, the strings of the film's story
also connect to the previous film.
The story of
the film is such that after being fed by the problems caused by the radiation
of the mobile, a birdwatcher Birdararajan (Akshay Kumar) commits suicide by
hanging on the mobile tower. Some time after that, in Chennai city, suddenly
people's mobile phones are released from their hands and go towards the sky.
Mobile phones start killing people and a dangerous bird made of mobile phones
attacks the city. This sudden incident creates chaos. As such, Doctor Vasikaran
(Rajinikanth) recommends to revive the robot Chitti (Rajinikanth), who was
transported to the museum in the previous film, Robot. This time Vasekaran is
accompanied by his assistant Neela (Amy Jackson), who is himself a robot, but
some people, including Willan Danny's son from the previous film, oppose him.
But once the situation is out of control, Chitti has to be revived to confront
Dr. Vasikaran Crow Man. Then there is the dreaded chroman and tremendous rust
in Chitti 2.0. To know the outcome of this war, you have to go to the theater.
The film seems
to be making tremendous efforts to tie the audience, whose scenes of killing
people with mobile phones in the first half have become excellent. The railing
of mobiles on the streets will surprise you, so the dangerous bird made of
mobile phones is also terrible. At the same time, in the second half, the story
of Birdarajan makes you emotional. The climax of the film filmed at Delhi's
Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the battle of Crow Man and Chitty Robot will shake
you up. Once you realize that you are watching a Hollywood film, in which you
just have to keep looking at the screen. The film also has a surprise of 3.0
for you and the entire scope of the film's sequel is also left. Shankar has not
let his grip loose anywhere in the entire film. His fine screenplay and
direction keeps you hooked throughout the film. Rajinikanth has great acting in
every avatar in the film. Be it Vashikaran, Chitti, Chitti 2.0 or Chitti 3.0.
At the same time, Akshay Kumar is also very involved in his role from
Birchrajan to Crow Man, while Neeley Robot, the character of Amy Jackson, will
steal your heart. VFX's work in the film is tremendous. Whether it is Crow Man
or Chitti or a great scene of fight between them.
If you want to
enjoy the film fully, then watch it in 3D. Usually, some dance or action
sequences in Bollywood 3D movies were in 3D, but 2.0 is the entire film shot in
3D, so watching it in 3D would be a better experience for you. The film is being
liked. This week, if you want to see a great Hollywood type action and
technology film, do not miss watching this film with the whole family.
